I wasnt going to organise the pantry, but mum always complains of being hungry and cold here so I think I will make a basket of snacks she can pick from and have the pantry in way that she doesnt have to dig for food hah. I just finished crocheting some bedsocks for her.

I must be the only person who requires safety gear while scrubbing the shower... I just got jif on my eyeball. So that was my que to give up on that for now. I dont much mind cleaning the bathroom, its the tiny tidy fussing that drains the life out of me. Putting clothes away and picking up bits from the floor kills me.

So
make some crochet feet for the pull out tables so they dont scratch the wood floors. - one done 4 to do.
Tidy the wardrobe
Clean the spare room (I havent sealed those gaps yet, but the gun is all ready to go since I did my bedroom just the other week)
Mulch the fruit trees and trim the front hedges
Top up the ducks bedding
Save the succulents in the yard from root rot
Screw the feet on the chaise bit of the couch
Move the air track to the new storage spot
Clean the loo
Clean the laundry
Organise the pantry

Urr so that hasnt gone well haha. I was not going to bother cleaning the patio because it got totally trashed in the flooding and I had that excuse. But then, me being me, started clearing the patio, just to avoid doing the housework. I have also started making a crochet tree and refilled the buns hay bins so now there is hay all over the floors.

3 days to go!

make some crochet feet for the pull out tables so they dont scratch the wood floors. 2 done
Tidy the wardrobe
Clean the spare room (
I havent sealed those gaps yet, but the gun is all ready to go since I did my bedroom just the other week)
Mulch the fruit trees and trim the front hedges - I dont think I will get the hedges done, but the trees are half done, I'll dump the buns litter on the trees and that will be it.
Top up the ducks bedding
Save the succulents in the yard from root rot

Screw the feet on the chaise bit of the couch
Move the air track to the new storage spot
Clean the loo
Clean the laundry
Organise the pantry

Adding
Clean the dishwasher (mum ALWAYS checks)
Wipe all the walls with vinegar
Clean the doors
Unpack the hay and compost from the back of the car
Put eskys and bags in the car for tomorrows bulk shopping trip
Change the vac bag and do the whole house, probably best to do *just* before they get here cos its messy again within an hour lol. Once the dog comes in, I can blame it on him :p

Have done so much more other stuff that isnt on the list. I see more and more things to do as I potter around. The patio was actually a huge job. Im still scrapping silt up with a dust pan but its looking much, much better and I feel better knowing that no snakes are hiding in that mess. I did a bit of whipper snipping in the courtyard too but I am having trouble with the line feeding too much out and really have too much else to do to fuss with it too much. I looked at the instruction videos and I am doing everything right, so I duno what the issue is. I might see if I can get a different type of line tomorrow, even though the line I have is the right one.

Given up on the washing machine. It wont drain and then the door gets stuck closed. Defo getting a top loader next time! But for now just handwashing, on my second load today. Which is ok. If it was the dishwasher that carcked it I would replace straight away but the washing machine can wait, hand washing clothes isnt as hard for me as scrubbing dishes is. Plus I want to wait until the next gas bottle exchange before I do another white goods replacement!

Operation clean up for mum is complete and highly successful. Phew.

So now I have a fridge full of leftovers to polish off before they go bad. Not such a bad thing to have on my to-do list :p

Finished off all of the food (except a few veggies that I couldnt get mum to eat  ) and now am too fat to do much more hahaha. Tried to trim my toe nails this morning, how the heck do fatter people than me manage it? LOL. By the time I go shopping and get back to eating normally, it will be time for another visitor.

Fixed the whippersnipper and knew I wouldnt be able to manage to do much today since I had already had a full day of zoom and housework, so I put the small battery on, thinking that it wont get me too far. Bloody thing outlasted me! I did run it til it died but it was beyond what my body was happy with and now feel sore and a bit migraine-y. So nothing else will be done now until its time for the ducks to go to bed and the bunnies to have dinner.

This week to do -

Go shopping for bunny food and seeds for the summer garden
More whippersnipping
Sweep the patio
Find a home for the bunny towels mum brought down
Move all the pot plants in and let the ducks into the courtyard/backyard to eat the slugs before seeding
Split up the pink flower bush babies into separate pots
Research pond pumps. Its full of rainwater and starting to reek.
Order more bunny litter and find compressed hay

Buy puppy?

haha

I thought I had done sweet F all today but then looking at my list I did half of a few of them... so it wasnt completely nothing, but wasnt completely something either.

This week to do -

Go shopping for bunny food and seeds for the summer garden
More whippersnipping
Sweep the patio
Find a home for the bunny towels mum brought down
washed them
Move all the pot plants in and let the ducks into the courtyard/backyard to eat the slugs before seeding - brought a few pots in until I found a redback on one
Split up the pink flower bush babies into separate pots - moved orange flowers instead.
Research pond pumps. Its full of rainwater and starting to reek. Going to bunnings!
Order more bunny litter and find compressed hay

Buy puppy? - looked but no joy. Not paying more for a dog than I paid for my car!

Went shopping today for all my summer seeds. Now I just have to unpack the car of it all. I just about died after getting the hay out haha Also got bunny food and a roast chook to cook.

Whippersniped quite a bit again. I was happy with how far I got before tiring out considering I had a big driving and shopping day. Its amazing how fast the grass grows when there is rain AND sun around!

And I applied for a Spoodle rescue dog. I really really really hope they just even SEE my application, as I am sure they would be completely over run after advertising a small dog like that. It has extreme anxiety, even medicated, and I think my quiet life would suit it. I took pictures of my yard tonight incase they do want more info as I am a bit far out of town for a home inspection!

I started on the cupboard last night, found the carpet hidden in there so cut that up to go inside the cat carrier.

I want to get the fridge done today, and then put the rubbish out as I know there's fruit dead in there

My list is all done :D I swear, maccas makes me turbo charged. I got so much more done today!

Chook is cooking in the oven probably still another hour away. I tried to get the littlest one but it was still huge.

All that is left for today is to bring the washing in, check on my baby asparagus plants that they are not looking too droopy after my rough handling and planting, and run the dishwasher after dinner.

But did you remember to pick up your post!?

I was going to do laundry today but the cat is currently lying on me so I'll see if I have time when he moves!

I have to pack and I just keep putting it off. I tell myself that it can wait until tomorrow, but in reality, that's super risky; I have to be at my mom's by noon, I woke up at eleven today and I still need to take a shower, too.

Anyway, going on vacation tomorrow until Sunday and can't wait :)

I MUST cut my hair. The weight of it is not helping my neck. I could probably take 4 inches off. Its always nice to chop it in the garden but then I have to wash it straight after so that I am not dropping hair all over the house!

4 inches wouldn't do much to my hair!
