How to end the show?

So, now that we know that end is here... almost anyway.

How do you want the show to end?

Should they kill them off?
Let the Winchesters actually die, and stay dead, finally.
In some last epic battle they sacrifice themselves to save the world. Or something like that.

Let them live happily ever after?
Make them quit the hunter lifestyle, settle down and live a quite life.

Having them continue the fight?
Finish the show with them going away on another case.
Only this time we will not be able to follow them and see it.

Or something else?

Personally I'm actually leaning towards my third option.
Just have them continue the never ending battle.
Think that sounds fitting somehow.

I would be disappointed if it ended with everyone still alive. Jared himself, who is a fan of the idea of the boys dying in the finale, has mentioned, rightfully so, that if the brothers are left alive at the end, then the fans will always wonder what they're doing, what stories that aren't being told, and it will feel very unfinished.

I also love Jensen's dream (go check it out on YouTube if you're confused, it's beautiful) and though I know it won't happen, that would be my second-perfect ending

A little bit of both With their real life kids getting a cameo

Have Sam and Dean head a hunter program, so they have minions to deal with the monsters while they live their lives. They've deserved it. It would be cute to end in a bit of a "Charmed" way, with generations following their lead in the fight to keep Earth from descending into hell. They will still be "Helping people, hunting things" but from behind a desk, in a limited fieldwork capacity.

I would hate for them all to die off but I sorta guess that's what they might do. It would be permanently ended if they all die where as I still hope for some sort of spin off in the world they created and for it to be open ended works for this sort of fanfic fandom.

Castiel can die tho

Maybe they could end up in another AU world where demons and such don't exist, and they could settle down and live boring lives.

Once they defeat God, whom was writing their history all along, time is reset. It's back to that Kansas night when Mary walks in and sees the shape looking at Sam. She turns the lights on and it's John. The end. Killing God and his Winchester story allowed them to live their lives as they were meant to. So nothing that happened in the entire series really happened.

That's how I would end it. But can you imagine the unadulterated !HATE! that ending would receive?
