Toni's interrogation of Sam continues, surprising him that she also wants to know about Ruby. Castiel tracks them to a warded farm house. Mary insists on going despite Dean's protests. Dean tries to sneak in but is captured and tortured in front of Sam. Toni surprises them again by bringing up Benny. Mary is able to distract Toni long enough for Dean to knock her out, stunning Sam. Mick from the Men of Letters arrives, letting Castiel join them and saying Toni went too far and that the Men of Letters want to work with hunters like the Winchesters to keep America safe, letting them think it over. Sam reunites with Mary elated she is alive; she mournfully looks over John's journal. Toni refuses to admit she did anything wrong since the Winchesters are too dangerous; Mick has already sent for their torturer just in case. Meanwhile, Crowley interrupts Rowena's date to find Lucifer. Lucifer takes over the body of washed-up rock-star Vince Vincete (Rick Springfield). Crowley's plan to break Lucifer's vessel and send him back to the Cage fails; so Crowley flees and Lucifer takes Rowena prisoner.

I like new Lucifer, I think I had read this but forgotten haha. It felt a little slower paced than the first episode of the season, I hope the boys get some family time with their mum before the next torture fest. Surely Cas has better things to do?

I am all for King Crowly and his offer seemed appealing to lucifer for a moment perhaps? Poor Rowena being dragged back in - but he is right she would get bored with cardboard. I hope Crowly doesnt run all season, I like it when he is at his best - king of crossroads - those kinds of clever deals.

Yep I like new Lucifer too!

Like the family working together against Lady Toni, and Sam's reaction to seeing his mother, and him bringing her tea later on, saying she was the filling the blank in his life.

Mary having John's journal and we get to see a little more of it, plus Dean sitting on the floor looking at the photos.

I’m not sure I like new Lucifer, but I like that we have two threats with him and The Men of Letters. I’m glad to have a break from the God stuff.

I’m glad there is a new Lucifer though. Misha did good, but I’m glad having Castiel back!

I like Mary and this kind of weird, but sweet family reunion. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes

Rowenas relationship with Lucifer could be interesting to discuss. I haven't put any thought into it yet.
