Knowing the area, they have only just been granted a community washing machine this week. I am doubtful she had much choice in her attire, but you're right, it is christmas colours!
Today's rant (unrelated to posters in this thread) Those up north are in my thoughts today. Summer was seriously hot, and people perished with the lack of water. Droughts and flooding rains are absolutely spot on for this place. There is either too much water, or none and things are getting worse for our most vulnerable. I am starting to think every soft rich kid who tells me off for acting aussie on the internet should spend a few weeks in the outback... be a massive reality check as to what they take for granted. It would really help re-align the values of modern society if every person had to do a volunteer stint with those most in need. I am frustrated with the highly privileged deciding what equality means.
