(this is mostly me being nosey and wanting to know who @Ruby has met)

I've done a couple of supernatural cons now, and got another coming up. The J3 panel was probably my favourite, but so far I can't say I've had a bad experience with any of the cast. I felt so lucky last year that Gen was willing to do autos, given how little she seems to do any conventions. Hopefully one year she will feel comfortable enough to do a full con. I think in the UK we are lucky to get so many female stars compared to the American cons that only seem to get one or 2, it does seem to be improving over there, but not by much.

I've only ever done one SPN convention, mostly because the UK SPN conventions are run by Rogue Events, and I found them to be utterly deplorable when I attended, so I won't be going back to anymore.

I was at A5 or A6, I think, so I met Jared (I fell on him, lol) Jensen, Richard Speight JR, Brock Kelly, Cindy Sampson, Fredric Lehne and Mark Sheppard - though I've met Mark about 6 times in total, thanks to his involvement in Dollhouse, Leverage and Firefly. I even had a huge argument with him in the middle of the autograph line, lol.

I met the actor who originally played Alistair at Belfast Comic Con last year - he was a joy.

I met Felicia Day LONG before she was ever thought about for SPN, lol. I've met Steve Carlson lots of times - he's one of Jensen and Danneel's closest friends (he got married in their backyard) and he did some music scores for some early SPN eps. I met Aldis Hodge, who played Jake Tully in the S2 finale, at a Leverage convention a few years ago. Amy Acker I met at an Angel con.

I love conventions, they're one of my favorite things in the world to do - when I can afford it, lol, because they cost a LOT. That's why I'm so pleased that more people are coming to the Belfast comic cons - I don't have to pay for travel and accommodation that way, lol.

I don't blame you for avoiding Rogue, I know a lot of people that have had problems with them. I was only planning on doing the one supernatural con, but I get addicted to cons very easily.

Aldis was great at the Leverage con, loved him and Beth introducing the concert! That was the only time I've managed to see Steve too.

Sadly I've not yet met Felicia, she did a lot of cons during my con break, still maybe one day I'll get to meet her.

Ooh, Jewel Stait, I met her, too. She was at Decalogy in Blackpool and the airline lost her luggage. She wore the same dress for two days and borrowed underwear from Clare Kramer, lol.

OH! And James Marsters, lol. There's a lot of BtVS crossovers, lol.

I've met Charisma too, she was in that ep with James. Oh and Julie Benz

I think you've met Mercedes too, she was a vampire in it as well.

I've actually never been to a convention at all, but there are a few SPN actors I wouldn't mind meeting... that is if I didn't spend all my money on books. *will one day be found under a pile of them*

I'm still disturbed after reading some mentions on BB about how the guys' wives have been treated by some. Can't blame her for largely staying away from cons.

I've been to the All Hell Breaks Loose cons here twice. Its really good because its so small, feels a lot more intimate. It is a little surreal to run into the actors when they are on their way to the toilet and stuff like that though, haha.

I have met Mark Sheppard, Misha Collins, Jim Beaver, Richard Speight Jr, Traci Dinwiddie, Matt Cohen, Rob Benedict, Sebastian Roche and Corin Nemec.

Everyone was really nice. I got my dvds signed and a photo with Misha and Sebastian Corin Nemec was particularly sweet, I got a big cuddle from him

I'm thinking about going again this year, but its so freaking expensive. The only actor there that I haven't met and would like to is Chad Lindberg. I do love Ash, but I don't know if I will bother. I wish I could have gone last year though since Jensen was there but I was broke at the time.

I also went to Oz Comic Con one year when Mark was there. It was really good, but I didn't enjoy it as much because of all the damn lines. Waiting around for Nick Brendon's autograph I missed Jason Dohring. I didn't even get to catch a glimpse of him *sigh*. I just watched that episode where he plays a time god not long ago.

I was lucky enough to get to All Hell Breaks Loose in Sydney a few years back. I went with some close friends and we made an east coast trip out of it. I got to meet a long time net buddy too, which was really cool. It was definitely the best organised con I had been to, never a dull moment.

My first photo op was with Misha and my face was shaking so bad! I am glad it was a still photo! I seemed to calm down after that haha. I also met Mark, Sebastian, Rob, Richard and Matt. I enjoyed Marks panel the most.

The only other con/expo I have been to is Supanova, every year since it started. That is far more hectic, I had a good friend buy me a photo op with James Marsters a few years back. I havent had as many photo ops at supanova, they are insanely rushed. I mostly go to see the panels as we line up early with snacks to get our own panel pics haha (before the put away cameras bit of course). I dont think I have seen any other SPN actors there.

I am yet to make it to Oz Comic Con.

I just saw a poster for a SPN convention that's going on this weekend here in Seattle. It's run by Creation Entertainment. Anyone been to one of theirs? I'd love to go. If I wasn't working and could afford it I'd so be there.

I had planned to go to one, but didn't go in the end. I'm not sure about then to be honest, it seems like they are huge cons, thousands of people, and they guys only go for one day. Also they don't seem to get many different guests, and really not many females.

Starfury are now doing the uk supernatural con, which is good as I much prefer them as an organiser, however it won't be the big stars going. If he does another next year I would consider it, this year is just bad timing for me.

I know they now still tickets for it on Stage It for some of the panels, but I don't see the point of paying for it when someone will usually film it anyway, ok so it's not live and it's probably not as good a video.

I currently have my AHBL pictures framed and up in my "hall of fan". I have a lot of good memories from that, it was the last real holiday I went on. A trip to Sydney is a pretty big effort from the West. It was a real experience and one not easily forgotten for me.

I would not go to a SPN con alone as being with friends was half the fun of it. I think I would lose interest if I didn't have someone else helping me hype the energy hehe. And I would be way more budgo about getting autographs and pictures. I am still very close to the girls I went with and we are going on another trip together in 2020, job permitting. I would say the con trip enhanced the bond. I live so far away now and don't get to see them often, but its always a laugh and a good time when we get together. They are not like the other circles I run in, and being fangirls is a big part of it. You probably all relate if there are too many references missed with the non fan people of the world. Mind you, GoT was a bit of a game changer here, so was netflix. Not many have my taste in TV or influence my tv choices.

Felicia Day is at a con not too far from here next month, I'm tempted to go. Osric is there as well but I have met him already, would be good if the two of them did a talk though

I would like to do Crossroads next year, the line up is great, but I won't know if I can until closer to the time.

I keep thinking about going to another con but it's a lot of money, which I really need to save.
