With the plan in full motion, Sam, Dean, Castiel and Jack fight for the good of the common goal.

Castiel gets his one moment of true happiness :D Destiel is canon :p

At a push I would say it's one sided Destiel, given that Dean didn't say it back. However to me that speech was Castiel's journey, more of a conclusion to his testimony from the other episode. It kinda reminded me of Xander's speech to Willow in Grave, the, we've been through so much crap together, that no matter what you do I will still love you, but for Cas an Angel who didn't understand what love was, it's also his thank you to Dean for showing him how to love. The I love you to Dean, it exactly that, that he knows now what love is, and what sacrificing yourself for a loved one is about, the way Dean and Sam will sacrifice themselves for each other. He will never have that love the same as Dean has it for Sam, because although Dean says they're family, Sam will always come first for Dean.

Anyway, I wish we knew more about the Empty, it's loud there now, what does that mean? Everyone is awake?

Billie as Death is not my favourite, old Death wouldn't have done this. But at least Jack didn't die! Again!

Yeah it was a bit of a LOL for me cos it was trending and in my stories and everywhere when it happened, and I did not see it as gay love either. It was a display of feelings of belonging and honest acceptance with a dash of "family don't end in blood". What does it say about Castiel that he could would not let himself express the love until that moment? Was he holding on to it for the right time? Keeping himself in internal misery, like vampire Angel does, for the good of others?

That was a funny way for the Empty to go out. Did Jack absorb everyone there? Nom them up? He was a very hungry boy.

I didn't cry or feel any kind of shock with this episode, because I had been freaking spoiled for the whole thing and already processed what I was going to see. Grrrhhh.

Ohhhh Destiel. So contentious. I'm cool with the whole idea. I get why people ship them but I have never really been into it. I did always think that if any romantic feelings were going to be expressed, it would come from Cas. I can buy him being in love with Dean. Since Misha said he meant it as romantic, then cool, I accept that. But I just don't see Dean ever reciprocating, even if he had time to get over the shock of what was happening.

I've always kind of felt like Destiel was more of an interesting comment on male friendships. In order to be a "manly" platonic friendship, no affection or love can be shown without it being seen as sexual. *Shrugs* that's one of the great things about tv, the viewer can interpret it any which way they like and they aren't wrong, its just how they see it.

Is it weird that I felt more for Charlie’s girlfriend who disappeared than Cas? Maybe its cause we’ve seen Cas die before, it has no effect anymore.

Personally I thought the speech was pure cringe and likely to make no one happy,

A) it takes the worst part from Angel’s curse and adopts it clumsily to this story

B) If you are a Destiel fan - what good did this do? Love you now I’m dead. Doubt this was the moment they hoped for.

C) as a non-Destiel fan I just thought it was weird and out of place, and again to compare it to Angel... They manage to make the happiness clause for a season 5 Cas, not present Cas. As in - Angel in s2 got a happy from loving Buffy. Angel by s4 needed so much more, like a good relationship to his son and ”family” of friends, to achieve the same result. Basically Cas getting a happy from telling Dean he loved him, with no resolution of goodbye to Jack (and even Sam) was lame and simplistic. A waste of a powerful moment.

I thought it was really effective and cool with people disappearing, but I’m not cool with it :( Donna! Charlie! Bobby! Donna!! I’m sad, and worried.

Oh and what was even the point of introducing Eileen! :(
