I am suspicious that the mark affected Dean more deeply. I thought the whole demon arc was tame.

I really have no idea whats to come!

I think there's something more to it than Amara just being beautiful. Dean has met beautiful women before, but he's never lost the ability to function around them. Amara is hard to kill, granted, but there's also something in Dean's head - or something that she's doing to him - that makes him incapable of even trying to take her out. He knows this and he's prepared for that, telling Sam was a good start.

I agree with @SwanSong in that the Mark must be affecting him. It left some sort of - heh - mark on his soul or something. There's something more here.

Yeah, they kind left out what more that mark means. Will Cain come back one day (even in flashback?).

I do need to rewatch the last few episodes, I was hoping for more from Amara and Dean. Her origin/lock up story seems told but Dean and that link?

I wonder had it been Cain she was released from would she have the same connection with him, maybe even a stronger one as Cain had the mark longer
